I’m not exactly a huge fan of war films. I’m not exactly a blood, gore and testosterone kind of girl either. The only war films I’ve seen were probably Black Hawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, The Great Raid and Three Kings. Okay, so maybe I’ve seen more than those four films, but you get my drift. I don’t think I have the stomach to watch men get blown up to bits.
Which is why I like Jarhead....

Finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally! I have been agonizing for ages and ages! After visiting and revisiting the magical land of Narnia through pure imagination and through the vivid imagery of C.S. Lewis, FINALLY!
I got that feeling again. The exact same feeling I got when the opening credits of The Fellowship of the Ring appeared...
